In Memory of Farideh Lashai: An Exhibition Celebrating the Life and Work of Farideh Lashai

The Farjam Foundation presents an exhibition honoring Farideh Lashai. She was one of Iran’s leading female artist, and paved the way for a global appreciation of an Iranian cultural aesthetic. Her lifetime of works explore her love for nature and expose her cultural identity and heritage.  She articulated her experiences through painting, sculpture, installation and audiovisual media. Her work is held in the world’s most prestigious art collections and has earned a place in the pantheon of modern masters. The show highlights her powerful freedom of expression that permeated traditional creative boundaries. All the works on display are drawn from The Farjam Foundation’s private collection. Artists, collectors, academics and enthusiasts owe a huge debt to the body of work she leaves behind and her legacy will continue to touch the artistic community for generations to come.
